Navigating the Viewport
In this article we'll go over how to navigate the viewport.
Rotate Viewport
Click and drag with the left mouse to rotate the viewport.
Tip
To change the pivot point of this rotation, select a model and hit F on your keyboard. Unbound will now treat this as the point around which the view rotates.
Zoom View
Zoom the window using the mouse scroll wheel. You can also hold down the right mouse button then move your mouse left and right to achieve the same effect.
Pan View
To pan the viewport, hold down the O key while moving your mouse.
Tip
The keybinding for this shortcut, and others, can be changed from the Settings menu.
The Organizer
The Organizer shows a list of everything in your scene, including models, logic blocks, lights, joints, and more. You can drag and drop these objects inside one another to nest them under a single transform - allowing them to be moved or hidden as a group.
To open the organizer, click the icon in the toolbar that looks like a list.
Hovering over an object in the organizer will highlight it in the scene (see image above) and vice versa.
You can keep an object from being selectable (helpful when connecting logic blocks, for example) by clicking the lock icon next to it in the organizer.
Object Focus
To recenter your scene around a specific object in your scene, select it and hit the F key.
Having Trouble Clicking the Right Object?
With enough models on screen it can sometimes be hard to select the one you're looking for. When you've found the object in the organizer, click the item and then hit F to focus on it.
